Famous cowhorn chair with very beautiful organic shapes from the 1960s.
Dutch mid-century modern design at its finest!
1960s cowhorn chair made by Tijsseling in the 1960s for the Propos series by Hulmefa, Nieuwe Pekela, Holland.
The armrests are shaped like cowhorns, which is where this unique chair gets its name from.
The frame is made of solid (teak) wood, and the seat and backrest are upholstered in faux leather.
The wood is in excellent condition. The faux leather on the backrest has been re-glued at the back. There is one damaged area on the seat that has been glued. Hence the attractive price.
