The iconic SE 42 three-legged chair is one of Egon Eiermann's most famous designs and exemplifies the objective, functional design language of postwar modernism. Its minimalist construction combines a molded plywood seat and backrest with a frame also made of molded plywood. Characteristic are the elastic rubber connectors, which give the chair its exceptional stability while providing a slight springiness. The clean lines and elegant silhouette make this model a timeless design classic for living and dining areas.
Condition: Beautiful, authentic vintage patina with age-related wear. Surfaces show signs of age, structurally sound and fully functional.
