Product description
Beautiful bentwood chair in the style of Thonet No. 4501. Rare find!
No label. Early 20th century.
Excellent condition. The construction is excellent and the chair has a beautiful patina, with some visible wear, but nothing disturbing. The plywood seat shows some usual shrinkage.
I have cleaned and polished the chair with dark beeswax. This chair has a small and slim size, with a slightly higher than normal seat of 50 cm. Note the slim lines and minimalist use of materials.
