This antique display cabinet with a mirrored upright is a refined example of furniture art from the Art Nouveau and Jugendstil periods, crafted around the turn of the century from 1890 to 1900. The design is characterized by elegant, organic lines and detailed woodcarving with floral motifs framing the mirror. The piece is crafted from warm brown mahogany and features a central glass display section with multiple shelves, flanked by open niches and closed storage compartments. The mirrored upright at the top creates additional depth and light. The entire piece is finished with copper-colored hardware and comes with an original key bearing the inscription 'ALLAN & Co'. The cabinet is in good condition, with the original finish and accumulated patina emphasizing the authentic character of the piece. The construction is solid and the details are well preserved.
