Product description
Are you looking for an Eyecatcher in your study/desk? This is it!
This rather rare office chair by Gebroeders de Wit, model 357 with bakelite armrests was designed by Gebroeders de Wit from Schiedam in the 1950s.
The company De Wit N.V. from Schiedam was founded just after the Second World War by two brothers, Toon and Martien de Wit. They supplied quality tubular frame furniture and also made it for Gispen.
This office chair has been completely rebuilt with quality foam and upholstered in the brilliant Lollypop pink 100% wool tweed from Bute, a Scottish weaving mill that produces the most amazing fabrics. She really sits like a charm, and working is a lot of fun on this super cool chair. (Do you want to request a sample because you don't know if you dare?)
This vintage office chair is adjustable in seat height as well as the height of the backrest. The backrest is also tiltable. The bakelite armrests are in very good condition. The chrome is also still in nice condition. Considering its age, this vintage desk chair is in top condition and can last for years to come!
