Wonderful leather three-seater by Gerard van den Berg for Montis from the 1970s. The lounge sofa is named The Rock of Florence. Made of high-quality, thick, and supple brown (water buffalo) leather. Over the years, the leather has acquired signs of wear in the form of patina, but that actually adds character! The sofa is firm, comfortable, and a feast for the eyes!
Gerard van den Berg founded Montis with his brother in 1974. Van den Berg is known for his revolutionary (leather) designs in unconventional shapes. This is clearly visible in this design.
