A mechanical tribute to analog photography.
This handmade floor lamp is a unique 'one-of-a-kind' object for the technology enthusiast with a story. Built around an original Meopta Opemus enlarger head, this is a high-quality example of upcycling where the history of the darkroom remains tangible.
The Design: Authentic Meopta details
The Head: A stunning enlarger head in the classic grey 'hammered' finish. The eye-catcher is the extendable bellows, which is still in excellent condition.
Negative Holder: The lamp retains its original negative holder, including the characteristic film reel supports. These parts give the lamp its unique, sculptural silhouette and refer directly to the past, when film rolls were manually fed through here.
The Base: For a powerful contrast, the lamp rests on a solid, cleaned car brake disc. This ensures indestructible stability and a raw, industrial look. Craftsmanship & Operation:
The robust chrome-plated tripod is fully tiltable and height-adjustable. The large rotary knobs and mechanical details are not only functional but also a visual delight for the enthusiast. The lamp has been fully technically inspected, fitted with new wiring, and features a practical cord switch.
