Beautiful vintage reproduction of the first city map of Amsterdam on wood (67x69cm). The original map was created in 1544 by Cornelis Anthonisz., painter, cartographer, and mayor of Amsterdam, and is considered the very first detailed representation of the city.
This edition (probably from the 1970s and 1980s) is printed on paper with a plaster backing and mounted on a wooden panel with a black wooden frame and hooks on the back for hanging.
