The Atelier Table is a special custom-made table crafted from smoked beech wood with a distinctly sculptural appearance. This unique, one-of-a-kind piece combines a warm wooden tabletop construction with a sturdy round drum base and a well-thought-out extendable mechanism, allowing the table to come into its own not only in the home but also in commercial spaces such as showrooms.
The tabletop is made of smoked beech wood and features a rich, natural look with visible wood grain. The table can be extended from a compact size to a spacious configuration, suitable for larger gatherings, presentations, or showroom use. The drum base is made of painted MDF, providing a powerful, stable foundation and underscoring the architectural character of the design.
A matching wooden block/wedge is part of the design and serves as a clever support/parking point for the mechanism. Furthermore, thanks to the construction, the table is partially demountable, which facilitates transport and placement. The tabletop shows light wear and a few scratches, clearly visible in the photos, which subtly accentuates the character of the furniture.
