Vintage brass Buddha statue, Dhyana mudra, Thailand, second half 20th century.
The Dhyana Mudra is characterized by the placement of both hands on the lap, with the right hand resting on top of the left hand and the palms facing upward. The fingers are fully extended, with the four fingers of each hand resting on top of each other. Often the thumbs touch and form a mystic triangle.
In good vintage condition, the brass has a nice age patina, no flaws, check the photos for more details!
