Product description
Beautiful table lamp in orange-yellow tinted glass, "Teepee" model, produced in France by Société Centrale d’Éclairage (SCE) at its factory in Lézat-sur-Lèze, Ariège.
Founded in 1953, SCE specializes in the manufacture of contemporary lighting fixtures and has become known for its production combining industrial expertise with artisanal techniques. Its Ariège factory has notably produced numerous models that have become emblematic of late 20th-century French lighting design.
With its sleek, conical silhouette and translucent orange glass, this lamp has a particularly striking graphic presence. A piece with a minimalist, warm, and vintage aesthetic, it fits equally well in a contemporary interior as in a more eclectic or 70s-80s style.
Very good overall condition. The glass has no cracks or fissures. However, there are two very small chips on the lower rim, not visible when the lamp is in place.
Original electrical system, in good working order. Screw-in socket, large base (E27).
