A touch of Japan: Teak tray by Shigemichi Aomine for the National Crafts Council, Japan, circa 1960. In good condition with minimal signs of age. The teak has not been oiled or treated: original condition. Length is approximately 55.4 cm x width: 18.3 cm, height approximately 2.7 cm at the highest point. Sold without fruit and chopsticks. No brand mark on the back – only remnants of a label remain. The National Crafts Council also sold trays without a brand mark – with only a label.
