Danish extendable teak dining table by Aage Schmidt-Kristensen for Fritz Hansen.

The furniture was left outside on a dry, sunny day solely for the photos.
This rather rare table is a beautiful example of Danish modernism. The 1964 design is distinguished by its unique details. The legs are not round, but triangular with rounded corners. All Fritz Hansen furniture still has a modern look after 60 or 70 years, and this table is no exception.
The table is characterized by an almost industrial solidity. The patented extension system is of exceptional quality. When you pull on the two outer leaves, two hidden leaves emerge (see photos). When folded, the table measures 145 cm, partially extended 190 cm, and fully extended 235 cm. The width is 90 cm, and the height is 72 cm. The table is in good condition, and the extension system works smoothly. A wonderful, robust family table that comfortably seats 4, 8, and even 10 people if needed.
