Large size hand blown Aurinkopullo - Sun Bottle - Solflaska made of uranium glass.
Design by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi Finland from 1964.
The Aurinkopullo is made in 4 sizes.
This is the second largest size: 23 cm high with a diameter of 17 cm.
Weight: 1327 grams.
Rare in this color.
In excellent condition with minimal usage scratches on the bottom. See photos for your own impression.
Uranium glass - anna green glass - Vaseline glass that becomes bright in color under the influence of ultraviolet light.
The color green is created using uranium dioxide.
