I am selling this on behalf of my parents; they are the first owners since the purchase in 1973. Therefore, I can confirm that the set has ALWAYS been kept dry indoors and has been cleaned/maintained exclusively with suitable products. Naturally, there are signs of use and the surface has discolored over the years, but that is not surprising after 52 years. Solid pine is very easy to treat, so by sanding, everything can be restored to its original condition!
