Vintage table lamp - design by Lungean & Pellmann
Memphis style - 1980s
Working desk lamp
Halogen 12v/50watt
Designed for German brand 'Brilliant Leuchten'.
Primary colors plus green.
Dimensions when the lamp is upright from the table: 55 cm to the first hinge, 75 cm to the top of the shade.
Yellow arms: 40 cm + 18 cm
Base: 14 cm x 13 cm x 12 cm high
The blue is beautifully matte. The red glow under the blue base, reflected by the surface the lamp rests on, is a beautiful detail. The entire design is well-thought-out, as befits a design. This lamp is rare.
Normal signs of wear for its age.
Everything rotates. Heavy base, so turning is easy!
Unfortunately, one red shade is missing. One side of the base has some black spots (almost invisible). Normal wear and tear at the corners of the base (white visible). There's a crack in the plastic near the shade.
The lamp works perfectly. Some designer sellers sell the lamp in this color scheme (but with all the red shades) for €968 or more. Collector's item.
