Adjustable desk lamp, model "Hebi Tavolo," designed in 1969 by Isao Hosoe and manufactured by Valenti Luce, Italy.
Freely adjustable design with a flexible arm. Black, ribbed rubber base with an internal metal counterweight. Black, ribbed, flexible PVC tube with an internal metal gooseneck. PVC base plate. Semi-circular lampshade in black lacquered aluminum, painted white on the inside. White lacquered Bakelite E14 socket. Rare version with a ring on the stem where it meets the base, bearing the inscription "Design Isao Hosoe" (the more common version has the name molded into the plastic base plate).
Dimensions: Total height: approx. 78 cm, adjustable. Lampshade diameter: approx. 12 cm; base diameter: approx. 17 cm.
It shows signs of age, including minor residue, slight soiling, a few small paint chips, minor abrasions, and scratches. The hose covering has a small tear and a small crack at the top where it meets the diffuser. This only affects the covering and does not impair functionality or the overall appearance (as it is only visible upon close inspection). The lamp itself is functional; however, I cannot guarantee its functionality, and it should be professionally inspected. Please also refer to the photos for the condition.
