For sale is a SIS table lamp, model 62, from the 1950s.
The lamp is made entirely of metal, with a fir-green shade and a white base, both finished with a crinkle-finish lacquer. The gooseneck is made of brass and holds the adjustable position precisely.
The lamp has been meticulously cleaned and is in excellent, fully functional original condition.

As one of Germany's oldest lamp manufacturers, SIS was founded in 1924 by Erich Lang and his father, Karl Lang, as a metal factory that focused on lighting from the very beginning. The name SIS stands for Sirius Schweinfurt. The company is currently managed by Stefan Lang, the fourth generation of the family.
