■ AN AUTHENTIC COLLECTOR'S PIECE
The gallery is privileged to present a true functional work of art from the 1970s: an authentic coffee table designed by the legendary French designer Maria Pergay. Known for her sculptural and luxurious approach to furniture, she delivers here an absolute centerpiece for any collector's interior or discerning décor.
■ KINETIC ARCHITECTURE & PRECIOUS MATERIALS
This piece is distinguished by its impressive mobile and modular architecture. It consists of three superimposed circular trays that pivot smoothly and majestically around a central axis.
Elm Burl: The three trays are covered in luxurious, genuine elm burl. The exceptional woodwork offers a spectacular organic grain, revealing deep golden and amber reflections.
The Structure: Each tray is enhanced by a thick, gold-plated metal band, creating a striking contrast with the depth of the wood. The table rests on a sturdy and very elegant geometric base.
■ CONDITION REPORT
The table is in very good overall vintage condition. The three-tiered swivel mechanism is perfectly smooth and functional. The elm burl and metal rims have retained a beautiful shine. There are very slight signs of normal wear, inherent to its age, which attest to the history and perfect authenticity of this beautiful 1970s piece.
