This Swedish scoop bowl, also known as a pip bowl, is a refined example of Mid-Century woodworking. The design combines an organic shape with an integrated handle, resulting in an elegant and functional object typical of Scandinavian design from the 1950s and 1960s.
Crafted from solid teak, the bowl displays a rich, warm brown color and a pronounced wood grain. The object is stamped 'MADE IN SWEDEN' on the underside, a mark that was standard practice during this period for Swedish teak design pieces intended for the international market. The total length is 21 centimeters, with a width of 6.5 centimeters and a bowl length of 14 centimeters.
