Product description
Swedish Cobolt model vase designed by Göte Augustsson in the 1960s. It was manufactured in thick, blue-tinted glass by Ruda Glasbruk.
The sculptural vase features a distinctive relief pattern and an irregular, almost rock-like structure, giving it a Brutalist character.
The vase is in very beautiful condition.
Göte Augustsson was an important designer for Ruda Glasbruk, which became known primarily in the 1950s and 1960s for its sculptural and heavily textured glasswork. The combination of heavy glass, organic structures, and geometric shapes is characteristic of his work.
