For sale, a magnificent baluster vase in Chinese porcelain, Rose Medallion style (famille rose), richly decorated.
This imposing piece features a traditional design arranged in cartouches, alternating between lively palace scenes (figures in traditional costumes) and naturalistic motifs (birds, butterflies, and peony blossoms).
Details and finishes:
Shoulder: Decorated with four Chilong dragons in relief with gilt.
Neck: Flared (15 cm) with stylized handles in the form of gilt Foo Dogs.
Mark: Apocryphal signature of the Qianlong Emperor under the base (homage mark from the second half of the 20th century).
Dimensions: Height 42 cm | Diameter at the neck 15 cm.
Condition: Very good overall condition. The colors are vibrant and the glazes are well preserved. (Please specify here if there is a small chip or if the gilding is slightly rubbed in places).
