Set of four Danish chairs from the 1960s. Solid Rio rosewood frame. The side legs and armrests are joined by stretchers. The original upholstered seats are in black imitation leather. The curved backrest panels are unupholstered. Original edition, circa 1960. Produced by Brdr. Tromborg's Eftf. Møbelfabrik Vestervig Heriksen, near Aarhus. Each chair is stamped with the H. Vestervig HERIKSEN mark on the underside. Height: 76 cm. Width: 47 cm. Depth: 46 cm. Excellent condition with some minor signs of age. The chairs have been oiled and waxed with antique wax (on the wooden parts). The Rio rosewood table by Carlo Jensen (manufactured by Poul Hundevad & Co - model 240) - same period - and chosen to make a set with these chairs (last photos) is also available in the list of my other items for sale.
