Product description
This is a unique sculpture by the artist, titled 'Styx', crafted from wrought iron and glass. The work depicts the separation between two worlds, inspired by the mythical river Styx, and displays the characteristic combination of materials for which the artist is known.
The sculpture consists of a wrought iron frame enclosing a composition of 2 cm thick Albertini glass. The glass is colored throughout with natural oxides, resulting in deep, layered hues. The hand-cut glass blocks are carefully joined together with black silicone sealant. The wrought iron features a coating that imparts a subtle brownish-black sheen. This is a unique, signed piece from 2024, with dimensions of 30 cm high, 18 cm wide, and 15 cm deep.
The object is in excellent condition and displays the original finish and the maker's craftsmanship. The robust materials and careful construction contribute to the durable character of this artwork.
