Beautiful set of 2 Scandinavian-style 1950s/60s armchairs, presumably oak. They differ slightly in color; the seat of one is lower than the other (presumably also has springs).
It is quite common for one to be a ladies' chair, while the higher one with springs is for men (due to leg lengths) and/or personal seating comfort.
Beautiful sturdy fabric, lovely details, and in very good condition.
One of the chairs has had some work done on the rear left side of the frame; it was done well and neatly. You can always cut some of it away if you find it bothersome.
It is also possible to purchase one of the chairs separately; please see our other advertisements for this (just click on 'advertisements from this seller').
There are also 3 dining chairs in exactly the same style of frame and wood; the upholstery is brown in color. All combinations are possible; please feel free to contact us. See the last 3 photos for inspiration.
Additional dimensions. Both chairs are identical in terms of height, width, and depth:
85 cm high, 64 cm wide, 67 cm deep. Armrest height from floor: 66.5 cm. Seat width 46 cm, seat depth 45 cm.
Difference lies in color and seat height:
The somewhat darker colored wooden armchair has the higher seat and a seat height of 44.5 cm. The seat height of the armchair with the somewhat lighter/yellower colored wood is 42.5 cm.
Please feel free to contact us regarding potentially attractive delivery costs; pick-up is of course possible in Hasselt, NL.
