Tuttle's furniture was often characterized by organic shapes, bright colors and innovative materials such as moulded plastic. He was also a pioneer in the use of lasers to create decorative patterns on the surfaces of his furniture. He won several awards for his designs, including the Roscoe Award in 1971 and the American Furniture Award in 1986.
The wood of the frame has a few scratches. The leather has a few creases due to its age, but these give the armchair a great patina and therefore a grandiose appearance.
