Mos Merab Samii was born in 1943 in Rasht, Iran. He finally ended up in the Netherlands after many wanderings in his own country and Europe. As a 10-Year-old boy Mos received a Kodak Photo Device from His Father as a gift and started taking photographs as a hobby. With his fascinating still lifes, Mos has developed into a "Master of Light. He draws inspiration from the old Dutch Masters.
His strength is the imitation of composition and light. He knows how to stage this like no other. His still lifes take us back in time and never bore us.
Moss creates his own settings and uses only items from the thrift store and fruits and vegetables from Lidl.
Mos Merab Samii's Still Life Photo is printed on HD Finish Aluminum. The advantages of printing on HD Finish Aluminum are, in addition to perfect color reproduction, very high sharpness and a guaranteed color fastness of at least 25 Years. Thus, the photo can simply hang in sunlight without losing its quality. Also, HD Finish Aluminum can be easily cleaned with a soft wet cloth.
