A beautiful porcelain wall plate from the series "Quiet Moments: Classic Dutch Still Lifes," painted by Dutch master painter Kees van den Berg and made by Royal Mosaāthe leading porcelain house in Maastricht, founded in 1883.
šØ "Still Life with Wildflowers" depicts a lavish bouquet of wild flowersādaisies, thistles, ivy, and field plantsāalongside apples, a wooden flute, and a dark stone jug. In his own words: "The harmony of form and color in a lovely bouquet of wild flowers tells us how perfect nature can be." A timeless ode to the great Dutch still life art.
ā±ļø The edition was finally closed after only 95 firing days. Each plate is individually numbered and signed by Kees van den Berg, bearing the official Bradex number 31-R67-1.2.
ā¹ļø This plate is the second in a series of eight classic Dutch still lifes. The first plate in the same seriesā"Morning Still Life" (Bradex 31-R67-1.1)āis offered separately in a separate listing.
