Still life food photo by Iranian photographer Mos Merab Samii. The still life photo is high quality, printed on Baryta photo paper and placed in a passe-partout. The photo comes with a signed certificate.
Mos Merab Samii was born in 1943 in Rasht, Iran. After many wanderings in his homeland and Europe, he eventually settled in the Netherlands. As a 10-year-old boy, Mos received a Kodak camera from his father as a gift and began taking photographs as a hobby.
With his fascinating still lifes, Mos has developed into a "Master of Light. He is inspired by the old Dutch masters.
His strength lies in the simulation of composition and light. He knows how to stage this like no other with meticulous detail. His still lifes take us back in time and never tire.
Moss creates his own settings and uses only items from the thrift store and fruits and vegetables from Lidl.
