This is a jam jar, designed by the Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for Stelton. The piece was part of the iconic Cylinda-Line series, which was introduced in 1967 and immediately recognized as a milestone in Scandinavian design. The design is based on pure cylindrical forms, a testament to Jacobsen's minimalist and functional aesthetic. The pot and lid are made of high-quality stainless steel, with a combination of a polished body and a satin-brushed finish on the lid. This creates a subtle visual contrast that is characteristic of the series. The spoon is by the Danish Lundelofte and also has a stainless steel base and a contrasting black plastic handle. The item is in good, used condition, consistent with its age and history. The original finish has been preserved and the object has an authentic character.
