This standing magazine rack is a striking example of minimalist 1980s design. Sourced in Scandinavia, it's crafted from black curved acrylic glass combined with chrome-plated metal. It's an object that balances functionality and design, without unnecessary details.
The rack rests on a rectangular brushed metal base, providing stability and a sleek, uncluttered base. Two slender chrome-plated rods extend upward from this base towards the magazine rack. The storage unit itself consists of two curved sections of black plexiglass, which together create a clear and organized layout for magazines or books.
The top compartment features a recessed handle, making the magazine rack easy to move. Thanks to the weighted base, the entire unit stands securely and stably, even when full. Its understated design makes it easy to combine with a variety of interior styles, from mid-century and space age to modern and minimalist.
The magazine rack is in very good condition. The acrylic glass and metal have been carefully cleaned and polished by us, after which the rack is immediately ready for use.
