Pendant lamp model 'Spicchio', designed by Ermanno Lampa and Sergio Brazzoli for Guzzini, Italy, 1970s. The lamp consists of a semi-circular shade made of 5 overlapping white methacrylate slats, supported by a chrome-plated metal frame. When illuminated, the light source inside produces a warm glow through the semi-translucent white panels, while providing downward illumination through the open gaps between the individual slats. Lampa and Brazzoli were a prominent design duo for Harvey Guzzini during the 1970s, creating several notable lighting fixtures for the manufacturer—including the 'Sirio', 'Alba', and 'Albanella' lamps—that made extensive use of molded acrylic and plastic. The lamp remains in very good condition.
