Born in Verona in 1935, Albano Poli attended the Napoleone Nani School of Art, directed by the master Pino Casarini, who guided him towards a career in glassmaking. He initially dedicated himself to the restoration of historical stained glass windows, then developed a distinctive style, blending craftsmanship and innovation.
In 1953, he founded Studio Arte Poli, specializing in sacred art, stained glass, sculptures, and liturgical furnishings. Thanks to his innovative vision, the company quickly established itself as a leading name in artistic production within the ecclesiastical sector.
In 1968, he founded Poli Arte, a company that stands out in the landscape of Italian furniture design, with production ranging from glass to bronze, from frescoes to mosaics.
A. Poli always maintained a strong connection between art and spirituality, reflecting his profound interest in sacred art.
He passed away in 2024, leaving behind a significant artistic legacy that continues to influence the world of stained glass and liturgical design.
