Ceramic accent lamp (attributed to Übelacker), 1970s – cordless
This distinctive accent lamp is based on a striking fireplace vase from the 1970s, stylistically attributed to Übelacker. The clear, architectural form with its elongated opening and the intense yellow glaze with its dark gradient give the vase a powerful presence – typical of West German studio ceramics of this period.
Combined with the oval lampshade, a captivating contrast is created: the graphic, almost textile lightness of the shade meets the robust ceramic base. The high-quality fabric with floral and organic elements in warm yellow, brown, and natural tones echoes the vase's color scheme, resulting in a harmonious overall look.
Dimensions:
Total height: approx. 49 cm
Vase: 25 cm high, 12 cm wide, 7 cm deep
Lampshade (oval): 22 cm high, 24 cm wide, 15 cm deep
Technology – cordless & flexible:
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb and is completely wireless. It charges via USB-C and provides up to approximately 12 hours of light. The bulb is dimmable (remote control) and can be easily replaced as needed. It is also suitable for use in sheltered outdoor areas (e.g., balconies or patios).
The vase is easily converted without drilling – its original character is fully preserved.
A unique piece with a strong 1970s feel – ideal as an atmospheric light source on a sideboard, shelf, or side table.
