A Space Age console from the 1970s, characterised by a compact structure and a strongly sculptural design defined by continuous surfaces, rounded corners and large open compartments. The contrast between the white-painted elements and the exposed wood emphasises the geometry of the piece and reflects the futuristic language that emerged in design between the late 1960s and early 1970s. Made of wood, the console features a partially white-painted structure that wraps around the different levels with a continuous, softly rounded profile. Two large open compartments are defined by natural wood back panels and surfaces, whose warm tone creates a striking contrast with the white finish. The slightly recessed upper surface is framed at the sides by the continuation of the curved structure and completed by a slender wooden edge along the back. The rounded forms and continuity of the surfaces give the console a sculptural character closely associated with Space Age design. A distinctive and highly recognisable piece in which the futuristic aesthetic of the period is interpreted through the combination of organic forms, white surfaces and natural wood. Condition: Good overall condition, with some signs of wear and areas of paint loss. Dimensions: Width 95 cm - Depth 39.5 cm - Height 81 cm Ref.: M0884
