This painting originated intuitively - as a snapshot of an inner world, where feeling was more important than form. Soft layers of blue, white and pink meet like sky, horizon, water and memory, without ever fully revealing themselves. The abstract composition invites you not only to look at the work, but to disappear into it for a moment. Perhaps one person sees a landscape at dawn. Another a distant horizon. A sea coming to rest, or perhaps a place deep inside where thoughts slowly quieten. There is no fixed landscape and no prescribed story. Only space ⁸ Space for feeling, memory and imagination, Soul Landscape is therefore not an image of a specific place, but a landscape from within - a silent encounter between what is visible and what can only be felt. Due to its elongated format of 120 x 40 cm, the work comes into its own beautifully above a sofa, bed or other long piece of furniture. The calm, horizontal movement can also give a room a sense of breadth, breath and tranquility. Acrylic paint, pastel chalk and protective varnish on canvas/panel.
