Product description
Magnificent solid wood tray, likely pine, vintage 1960s-1970s, a fine example of fine craftsmanship. The robust structure features exposed nail joints and interlocking elements. It has carved and curved handles. The tray boasts a beautiful original patina with a warm varnish, highlighting the wood grain. The style is reminiscent of rustic French or mountain chalet production. Exposed nails.
Approximately 43-44cm overall length, 33cm interior dimensions, 33.5cm exterior width, 28cm interior dimensions, 9-15cm height. The boards are 2.5cm thick. In very good overall condition, with normal signs of wear, including traces of old glue mixed with sawdust in the original interior corners. Approximately 1.5-2kg.
