This is a detailed scale model of a Hoogaars sailing ship, manufactured by Artil Specials Utrecht. The collector's item, numbered 44, displays the classic lines of this traditional Dutch ship type. The model is cast from 94% tin and rests on a base that simulates water waves. The sails feature an inscription referring to 'Trouw NPMP Laddertop 1992'.
