Charming little Murano-inspired mirror dating from the 1950s.
The frame is made of thick, clear plastic with rounded, textured patterns. It is decorated with small beads/glass pieces integrated into the frame and two turquoise blue plastic flowers (one at the top, one at the bottom) that adorn the mirror.
The back is veneered wood, indicating careful craftsmanship rather than modern plastic. It has a foldable stand, allowing it to be placed on a table, shelf, or piece of furniture. It can also be hung on the wall using the small ring on the back.
The style and materials are consistent with mid-20th-century (1950s/60s) production, a period when decorative mirrors made of Murano glass or inspired by Murano glass were popular.
It is in very good condition.
A beautiful decorative object, ideal for a vintage, bohemian, or charming home, perfect for a dressing table, entryway, or guest room.
