MID-CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN WALL LAMP — UNO & ÖSTEN KRISTIANSSON FOR LUXUS, SWEDEN (1960s)
An elegant expression of Scandinavian modernism, this mid-century wall lamp was designed in the 1960s by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden. The gracefully curved teak frame supports an opaline glass shade, which emits a soft, warm glow—perfect for bedrooms, hallways, or any refined interior.
The piece is in excellent condition, with the teak and glass both remarkably well preserved. A discreetly integrated modern switch enhances its usability without compromising the original design.
Uno & Östen Kristiansson, founders of Luxus in the 1950s, were key figures in Scandinavian lighting design. Their work is celebrated for its harmony between natural materials and minimalism, and this wall lamp is a beautiful example of that legacy.
