Beautiful silver-plated 55-piece cutlery set by Gero Hollandia Plate.
Hollandia was originally a silversmithy from Zutphen (active since 1917) that was acquired by Gero in 1963. Gero marketed several models under the name Hollandia Plate.
This silver-plated cutlery set with a 100 silver plating grade dates from the period 1963 to the late 1960s. The cutlery set looks neat. It's not a common model, but it does have a beautiful, sleek design reminiscent of the Art Deco style.
The 55-piece set is in good condition with, of course, signs of wear consistent with age. The set includes:
- 6 large spoons, 6 small spoons, and 6 dessert spoons
- 6 large forks and 6 small forks
- 5 large knives and 7 small knives
- 6 fish cutlery sets (knives and forks)
- 1 soup spoon
All items are marked Gero Hollandia Plate 100.
The cutlery set can be picked up in De Meije, Zegveld (near Woerden). Shipping is possible at the buyer's expense and risk.
