A large lithograph from the "Loving Tigers" series, in which Corneille, following in the footsteps of Gauguin and Van Gogh, creates a jovial, colorful work celebrating summer and harmony with nature. The tiger symbolizes the painter's taste for exoticism and a change of scenery. The female nude, a kind of round Olympia, gives the image a striking appearance. We are selling an artist's copy with the Atelier Corneille stamp on the back, signed and dated in graphite by the painter.
