B & B Italia was created as the successor to C & B Italia when Piero Ambrogio Busnelli took over C&B Italia. From the beginning, the company wanted to distinguish itself as a strong, modern Italian brand based on an industrial model, using both high-tech production methods and high-tech materials, including plastic and polyurethane foam.
