Shlomi Haziza (New York/Israel, b. 1969) Lucite sculpture representing a circle at the base with a circular center of rainbow colors together. Sculpture with incised signature and date "Shlomi Haziza/'94". 20th century.

Acrylic is the most sophisticated material Haziza has mastered to date. Haziza has spent years finding new ways to use color, metallic powders, and sculpting techniques to bring out the inner fire of acrylic and breathe life and emotion into every piece. Multifaceted crystalline solid methacrylate modern architectural form accented on one side by raised bars of translucent. The exacting geometry results in optical art-like refractions that dynamically transform as the viewing angle changes.
