Condition: good condition - minimal signs of use - small dent on the underside of the casing, however not bothersome.
Antique copper ship's lamp, also known as an onion lamp due to the characteristic spherical shape of the glass. This type of lantern was traditionally used on ships because the glass globe protected the flame from wind and rain, while the copper or brass housing was resistant to salty seawater.
