This set of original Space Age eyeball table lamps was produced in the 1970s by the German manufacturer Hoffmeister Leuchten. The design is known for its characteristic spherical metal shade, often referred to as a 'kugellamp', which forms an iconic silhouette within mid-century modern design. The lamps are crafted from metal with a deep, matte brown finish, combined with a round, stable base and a chrome stem. The interior of the shades varies: one lamp features a beige interior with an original factory label, while the other has a silver-grey reflector side. They are designed to provide focused light, making them both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The set is in functional condition while retaining its original character.
