A set of two vintage rugs from the renowned Belgian manufacturer Louis De Poortere, crafted from pure virgin wool. This set offers a harmonious combination of two iconic designs, ideal for creating a cohesive interior with a rich, textured appearance.
Both rugs are machine-woven in Belgium and bear the official Woolmark label. The first rug, model Soumak Kadjar (Design 7301), measures 350 x 240 cm and features a Caucasian geometric design in terracotta, deep blue, and cream. It falls under the heavy T5 quality class. The second rug, model Heriz Karian (Design 7068), measures 305 x 203 cm and features a classic Persian Heriz design with a central medallion, falling under the T4 quality class. Both rugs feature the original factory label on the back.
The rugs are in excellent vintage condition, retaining their full texture and natural sheen. They are free from heavy wear or stains, attesting to careful use and maintenance over the years.
