These two chairs are part of the Romanian Bilea Arges set, manufactured in 1970s.
The standout feature is its decorative backrest made of stunning walnut veneer with a wood grain going in opposing directions.
The backrests and seats are comfortable. The upholstery has been changed to high quality chenille fabric in mocha color. It’s durable and easy to clean.
The backrests are veneered with walnut and legs are made of solid beech. Chairs are finished with glossy shellac. It’s in very good vintage condition, without major defects.
