Original set of two dining chairs designed by Niels O. Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, Denmark. Introduced in 1976, Model 84 represents one of Møller’s later and most refined designs, showcasing a more sculptural and confident interpretation of his classic chair series.
Crafted from solid teak wood, these chairs feature beautifully organic contours, a tactile surface, and a compact yet expressive silhouette. The design balances bold sculptural lines with elegant proportions, resulting in a timeless piece of Scandinavian modernism.
The seats have been newly hand-woven with authentic Danish paper cord, offering excellent comfort and durability.
Condition: Professionally restored. Wood carefully cleaned and refinished, frames solid and stable, seats newly woven. Excellent vintage condition with only minimal signs of age-related wear. Original maker’s label present under each seat. A rare and high-quality set of Danish design icons.

Originales Set aus zwei Esszimmerstühlen, entworfen von Niels O. Møller für J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Dänemark. Das Modell 84 wurde 1976 eingeführt und zählt zu den späteren, besonders ausgereiften Entwürfen Møllers – eine elegante Weiterentwicklung seiner ikonischen Stuhlserie mit skulpturalem Ausdruck.
Die Stühle sind aus massivem Teakholz gefertigt und überzeugen durch ihre organisch modellierten, kraftvollen Linien sowie eine ausgewogene, kompakte Silhouette. Charakteristisch ist das harmonische Zusammenspiel aus gleichmäßigen Materialstärken, fein ausgearbeiteten Details und exzellenter Proportion – ein Entwurf, der zugleich markant und zeitlos wirkt. Die Sitzflächen wurden neu und fachgerecht mit dänischer Papierkordel von Hand geflochten, was hohen Sitzkomfort und Langlebigkeit garantiert.
Zustand: Fachmännisch aufgearbeitet. Holz sorgfältig gereinigt und neu lackiert, Gestelle stabil, Sitzflächen neu geflochten. Sehr guter Vintage-Zustand mit nur minimalen, altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren. Originale Herstellerkennzeichnung unter der Sitzfläche vorhanden. Ein hochwertiges, seltenes Set skandinavischer Designklassiker.
