Elegant set of two nesting tables, designed by Rex Raab for Wilhelm Renz in Germany. The design is characterized by particularly slender proportions and an extremely refined construction. The slender, slightly tapered legs flow almost seamlessly into the frame, while the subtle joints at the corners have been deliberately left visible. The warm wood and beautiful grain pattern give the minimalist design a soft appearance. The tables were originally part of a set of three; the smallest table is missing. The two remaining tables can be fully slid under each other and together still form a beautiful and functional composition. Both tables are in good vintage condition with some light signs of use. A slight discoloration is visible on the tabletop of the larger table. Otherwise, the woodwork, veneer edges, and construction have been preserved very neatly. Dimensions are as follows: height 52 cm, width 52 cm, depth 38 cm.
